Community Outreach

The Assessor's Community Outreach Team is available to meet with church, neighborhood, civic and professional groups to explain the state-mandated duties of the Assessor's Office as well as the rights and responsibilities of property owners.

Our team stands ready to meet with any group to better define the appraisal, assessment, taxation, and appeals process in a format that would educate property owners and give everyone a better understanding of how property is appraised in Shelby County.
